PUERTO RICO (CBS 58) – Thirty-five workers from We Energies are working with other power crews to restore power to Puerto Rico.
A third of the island is still without power, months after Hurricane Maria.
We Energies says they work in 12-hour shifts, setting new power poles and picking up power lines.
Despite the progress, We Energies says there’s still a to be done. Crews will be in Puerto Rico for another three and a half weeks.
