MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The owner of a southside beauty salon is frustrated after her business was targeted by a vandal late Monday night, March 22.
Nueva Imagen manager Alma Diaz arrived Tuesday morning to find a large hole and shards of glass littering the ground in front of the store.
Security video shows a man using a rock to smash the window. He was not able to get in.
She called MPD and they wrote a report. She said she'd like to see more of a police presence in the neighborhood.
"We are afraid, always, always, because we were open about 8 p.m. and now we close at 6 p.m. cause there are a lot of problems with that," said Diaz.
Apart from this incident, a vehicle crashed into the wall of the salon in mid-January.
That person was arrested days later.
Between the two incidents, she estimates the cost to repair the building is around $10,000.
