WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A colorful change is coming to a busy part of Wauwatosa.
The city is planning a corridor of outdoor murals for several buildings near 68th and North Avenue. The plans call for up to six outdoor paintings including one on the east wall of Cranky Al's Donut Shop and another on the west side of the Rosebud Cinema. Bel Air Cantina will also get a mural and they plan to cover the entire Voline Service Station, across from Cranky Al's.
Right now, Wauwatosa is looking for artists to paint the murals. Artists have six weeks to prepare their proposals. Responses are due June 1st. Chosen artists will be announced on June 17th.
