Waukesha West High School: Basketball team unknowingly filmed in Arrowhead team room

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office is investigating after they were informed by the Waukesha West High School Administration that there may have been video of basketball players changing while they were the visiting team at an Arrowhead High School game.
The sheriff's office says they have been reviewing video of various events in the room, and up to this point there is no evidence that a crime has occurred.
Officials say they are continuing to watch and speak with individuals to ensure a crime did not occur. They have also requested AHS not destroy any video until it can be determined no crime was committed.

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Waukesha West High School sent a letter to families Friday, Feb. 10, notifying them that boys basketball players and their coaches were unknowingly filmed at Arrowhead High School Tuesday, Feb. 7.
The letter said team members didn't know a camera existed in the space, and there was no communication that there would not be privacy within the designated team room.
Waukesha West's student resource officer is investigating along with the Waukesha Sheriff's Department, and the school has requested that the video be destroyed.
Waukesha West said they expressed an urgency to understand who had access to the recording and to "confirm steps are being taken to prevent this type of incident in the future."
The letter to families said Arrowhead administration has "promptly replied" and intends to take immediate corrective action.
