WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police say a death that occurred in a Waukesha house fire is now considered suspicious, and a classic car that belonged to the victim is missing from the home.
Firefighters responded to the fire at S. University Drive just after 5 a.m. Thursday.
Officials say the person who died was the only one home at the time of the fire.
On Thursday evening, Waukesha police announced that the death has been ruled suspicious, and a car missing from the home has been reported as stolen.
It's described as a red/burnt orange 1969 Pontiac Firebird soft top convertible with a black top.
Anyone with information regarding this vehicle is asked to contact authorities.
