Waukesha County Sheriff investigating fatal accident in Town of Vernon

A single vehicle accident in Waukesha County has taken the life of the driver of the vehicle.   According to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 7:06 PM Saturday on Edgewood Avenue in the Town of Vernon.   The unidentified driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office.   Edgewood Avenue was closed to traffic for about four hours  as the WCSO and Wisconsin State Patrol investigated the accident.
