Waukesha County Reporting 60 Vehicles Going into Ditches

Waukesha County Sheriff's Department reported 11 accidents with personal injuries and 60 vehicles in the ditch on Monday. 

There were 54 property damage only accidents. 

The totals were from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There were no accidents involving personal injuries from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM.

As of late Monday morning the Wisconsin DOT reported there have been 165 incidents state wide, which is a 166 percent increase to a comparable Monday in December.

While the Southeast and Southwest regions have received the most snow, the remaining three regions are starting to see it in their southern counties. High winds and blizzard-like conditions are expected to continue through this evening and in some areas tomorrow morning. Snow removal resources are heavily engaged across all regions, as roads have been pretreated.
