Waukesha County Fair kicks off Wednesday

WAUKESHA -- The Waukesha County Fair opens Wednesday afternoon, and organizers say attendees have a lot to look forward to at the state's oldest county fair.

In addition to the mouth-watering food lineup, live music, fun games and wild carnival rides, families can enjoy the popular truck and tractor pull and demo derby.

New this year -- the Swamp Master Alligator Show.

Opening night highlights include the Fairest of the Fair finals at the return of the hot air balloons as five balloonists take to the skies.

The fair begins at 3 p.m. at the Waukesha County Fairgrounds and runs through Sunday.
