Waukesha County Expo Center to host flooding resource center Sept. 11

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Waukesha County will open a Multi-Agency Resource Center on Thursday, Sept. 11 at the Waukesha County Expo Center for residents impacted by the historic flooding that took place in August.
The center will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Forum Building North Hall on 1000 Northview Road.
Officials say that the event is designed to connect affected families with multiple agencies in one location to simplify access to services.
County Executive Paul Farrow said in a statement that the center is intended to make recovery resources easier to reach, as flooding caused damaged across the county.
Services available include disaster case management, public health and safety resources, counseling and community assistance programs. No documentation of damage is required for residents to attend.
