Waukesha County beaches transition to "Swim At Your Own Risk" for end of season

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Due to a lifeguard shortage, both Fox Brook Park and Menomonee Park will switch to "swim at your own risk" beaches starting Thursday, August 15.

Swim at your own risk beaches will be open daily from sunrise to sunset.

There will be no lifeguards on duty, but daily maintenance will not be affected.

County officials say the change is meant to extend the swimming season for as long as possible.
