Washington County sheriff: 1 dead in Town of Erin crash

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A fatal crash is under investigation in the Town of Erin, in Washington County.

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, early Thursday, Aug. 12, a caller reported seeing the aftermath of a crash on Dublin Drive, north of O'Connell Street.

The caller was able to get the driver out of the vehicle before deputies arrived. Life-saving efforts were performed by first responders but were unsuccessful. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
