Warming up to end the weekend

It's been a very pleasant Saturday across southeast Wisconsin with abundant sunshine and temps in the low to mid 70s.

Temps have been held in check near the lake thanks to an ENE breeze, but that breeze will turn SE and S on Sunday, allowing for temps to rise into the mid 80s for most. A few spots may rise into the upper 80s well away from the lake.

While we'll end the weekend on a dry note, rain chances return to start the week. A couple of isolated showers and storms will be possible Monday morning before becoming scattered in the afternoon.

Steadier rain is then expected Monday night into Tuesday morning as a cold front works through the Upper Midwest. Temperatures behind the front look to fall back into the 60s, right on time for the first day of fall!
