Warmer for the Weekend....Storms Possible Saturday Night

The weather looks pretty quiet as we head into the weekend.  Strong southwesterly flow will develop on Saturday ahead of a front, and that will likely mean highs in the 80s by Saturday afternoon.

The southwest flow will keep any cool lake temperatures away; however, it won't last forever as another front arrives for Saturday night.  Along and ahead of the front we expect showers and storms to develop Saturday evening into Sunday morning.  The models have been very up and down on the rainfall intensity, so right now we will call for scattered showers and storms.

There is a chance for a strong to severe storm, but with the different model solutions, it's something we will watch and update for you over the next several days.
