After a breezy past few days, calmer winds are in store for this Thursday. Despite this, an elevated fire risk holds for most of the state, so another day to try to avoid burning if possible!
Winds today will come in out of the south which will allow for mild temps again, and as winds pick up tonight and through tomorrow staying out of the south and west, even warmer temps will move in. Expect highs to reach the low 60s to wrap up the work week.
A quiet day is on tap for today with clouds increasing ahead of a chance for showers around bedtime. Rain chances will exit again by daybreak tomorrow before a quieter Friday.
Late Friday evening, another chance for showers is possible, and behind this system, a big cool down is to come in. Highs this weekend return into the 40s and 30s with chances for precip turning to mixed showers or even some light snow.
