New owner plans to preserve former UW-Milwaukee Alumni House
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Governor Walker took part in a groundbreaking ceremony Friday morning for new car dealerships in Milwaukee. Lawmakers and company officials celebrated the start of two new Russ Darrow dealerships being built in the city.
Governor Walker and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett joined others for the ceremony.
The new dealerships will be located in the metro auto mall site on Milwaukee’s northwest side.
They represent a $12 million investment in the city and are set to create 20 jobs.
The new dealerships are scheduled to open in mid-summer of next year.
