MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A production of the hit Broadway musical "Waitress" s set to launch Skylight Music Theatre's 65th season in Milwaukee. The show, based on the 2007 film, will run from Friday, Oct. 4 to Sunday, Oct. 27 at the Cabot Theatre at the Broadway Theatre Center.
Three cast members, Julia Levinson, Alex Merkel and Raven Monique Dockery, joined us on Thursday, Sept. 19 to preview the production, which features music and lyrics by Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles.
It tells the story of Jenna, a talented pie maker seeking a better life.
