“Vote Brewers!” campaign underway for 2018 All-Star Game

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The “Vote Brewers!” campaign is underway to help send Brewers players to the 89th Major League All-Star Game at Nationals Park in Washington D.C.

This year’s All-Star Game is being held on July 17.

This year, eight Brewers players are featured on the ballot including 1B Eric Thames, 2B Jonathan Villar, SS Orlando Arcia, 3B Travis Shaw, C Manny Piña and outfielders Ryan Braun, Lorenzo Cain and Christian Yelich.

Fans can now vote online to support the Brew Crew.

People who vote 31 or more times and select the Milwaukee Brewers as their “favorite” club using the same email address will automatically be entered into the 2018 Brewers All-Star Sweepstakes. The winner will get 20 tickets to a Miller Park suite with complimentary food and drinks to a 2018 regular season home game. The winner will also be able to watch batting practice on the field before the game. More information on the sweepstakes can be found on the Brewers website.

There will be voting stations set up for anyone visiting Miller Park during a home game. Fans who vote at Miller Park will be eligible for prizes.

Voting ends July 5 at 10:59 p.m.
