Local expert answers parents’ education questions
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A robust line-up of events is on the horizon as Milwaukee welcomes the fall season.
Ian Thompson, Senior Communications Manager with VISIT Milwaukee, previewed the slate when he joined us on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
The 2023 Cultures & Communities Festival is set from Thursday, Oct. 5 through Thursday, Oct. 12, offering diverse cultural expressions and community celebrations. Notable events include an opening night party with DJ Spinderella and Janelle James' Newly Famous Comedy Tour.
In sports, the Brewers face the Arizona Diamondbacks for National League Wild Card games at 6:08 p.m. both Wednesday and Thursday.
Curdfest takes center stage on Oct. 7 at Drink Wisconsinbly, celebrating the beloved cheese curd. Attendees can enjoy music, cheese curd samples from local vendors and an eating competition.
Horror fans can dare the "The Hill Has Eyes" haunted trails in Franklin, open every weekend in October.
Finally, "Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience" will open its doors at the Baird Center from Friday, Oct. 13, to Jan. 6, 2024, offering an immersive glimpse into Ancient Egypt.
