MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A virtual Joint Public Hearing to provide comments and input on Mayor Tom Barrett’s proposed 2022 City of Milwaukee budget will be held on Monday, Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m.

Local aldermen are encouraging members of the public to speak and provide suggestions at Monday's meeting.

“Input from residents helps shape opinion on what is most important from the public’s perspective, and is greatly appreciated by members of the Council,” President Johnson said.

In the coming weeks, Council members are expected to review the budget and to engage the community in the process.

We want to hear your concerns and suggestions pertaining to the budget, and we invite residents to utilize this forum to provide valuable feedback,” Alderman Murphy said.
