Village of Kewaskum warns against telephone scam targeting senior citizens

The Village of Kewaskum Police Department is issuing a warning after a citizen came forward about a call they received.

According to police, the citizen received a phone call and their caller ID identified that number as "The Village of Kewaskum." The caller stated they were selling some sort of "well-being kit" and they were marketing it to senior citizens.

According to police, this is a scam. The Village of Kewaskum does not engage in soliciting products for sale and that phone scammers routinely use false numbers to make their scams more believable.
