MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Emily Robertson, Chair of the Villa Terrace Museum & Gardens Exhibits Committee, joined us on Tuesday, Aug. 4 to discuss the museum's lineup of cultural activities this month.
The historic Italian Renaissance mansion and gardens is featuring five distinct art exhibitions and preparing for a three-day Chamber Music Festival later in August.
Among the featured displays is Jan Serr’s "Summer Paintings," capturing lakefront scenes over five decades, alongside works by sculptor Susan Falkman, painter Thea Kovac, self-taught painter Anton Carter, and photographer Kristine Hinrichs.
Also, the upcoming Chamber Music Festival, led by pianist Yaniv Dinur, will feature members of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra performing the complete cycle of Beethoven’s Razumovsky String Quartets across three concerts.
