Videos show multi-county police pursuit that closed I-94 for 30 minutes

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man is in custody after a multi-county police chase on I-94 that happened earlier Wednesday, Nov. 12 causing the interstate to close down for 30 minutes. 

According to law enforcement, the chase started in Milwaukee County and ended in Racine County. Milwaukee police said the man fleeing was a wanted felon, who was armed and dangerous driving a pick-up truck. 

Racine deputies deployed a tire deflation device to stop his truck that was speeding along I-94. Within moments the front tires deflated and shredded off the truck causing it to come to a stop on top of the Highway KR overpass. 

Racine and Milwaukee officers took the man into custody without further incident after that. The interstate was closed down for 30 minutes during the arrest. 

The reason for the chase is not known at this time but police found several firearms in the truck. 

Charges are being filed to the Racine County District Attorney's Office.
