MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Video from the state Department of Transportation shows the police chase that led to a deadly officer-involved shooting Monday, April 14.
Cameras show squads pursuing a light-colored car south on 35th Street. Police say the car was connected to a fatal shooting that happened earlier in the day.
The chase continues south on the 35th Street bridge. Near the south end of the bridge, the pursued car skids across the oncoming lane and crashes.
A shootout follows and the driver, 31-year-old Nicholas Maslowski, is shot by police. He died at an area hospital. No officers were injured.
The shooting remains under investigation.
