OZAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An inside look at the aftermath of a school bus crash in rural Ozaukee County that sent several students to the hospital.
It happened on Sept. 16, as those students were heading to school.
Just before 7:30, the driver of an SUV drove through a stop sign, hitting the bus and causing it to tip on its side.
Shortly after the crash, students inside the bus called 911 for help.
In all, the bus was carrying 36 students, whose ages range from elementary to high school. The most serious injuries were listed as broken bones and concussions.
The driver of the SUV was cited for failing to yield at a stop sign.
