Victoria Findlay Wolfe Double Wedding Ring Workshop

This is your opportunity to learn from the “master” in applying modern twists to this favorite classic pattern! Timed to the release of Findlay Wolfe’s new book on Double Wedding Ring improvisational quilts, you won’t want to miss this!
This class focuses on the 4-ring quilt shown below. We play, and manipulate our fabrics to find out design, then learn how to construct and join 4 rings of a DWR. We learn a few tricks, for curved seams, mitering, and Easy machine appliquéing the piece adhered to its background using lace trims. A slightly advanced class… Patience is your greatest trick to learn in this class, then all great things emerge! You will glow in your success.
Class will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, with a half-hour lunch break. Supply list: DWRSupplyList. You may purchase DWR templates from Victoria the day of the workshop, or bring your own. Victoria recommends the “Darlene Zimmerman” templates sold by Simplicity. Fee includes pattern, lace trims and other goodies from Victoria!

Cancellation policy: If weather (or some other issue) causes the museum to cancel the class, you will be offered a rescheduled class or a full refund. If you cancel the class after December 9, 2014, you will forfeit 50% of your paid class fee. If you cancel after December 31, 2014, you will forfeit 100% of your paid class fee.
