Veterans to explore Whole Health benefits at Milwaukee VA event

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Veterans interested in holistic health practices have an opportunity to learn more at the Whole Health Retreat, hosted by the Milwaukee VA Medical Center at 5000 W. National Ave.

The event will feature a variety of sessions including panel discussions, hands-on workshops and resource sharing focused on Whole Health methods and benefits on Tuesday, April 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

No prior registration is required to attend.

Veterans will have access to a variety of sessions designed to teach skills like pain management, mental clarity and self-healing techniques. Attendees can expect a packed schedule starting with a session on Pain Psychology at 10 a.m., followed by discussions and activities on living well through Whole Health practices.

The program includes Tai Chi, chair exercises, clinical hypnotherapy, among other activities aimed at enhancing life quality.

Designed to support Veterans in managing their health independently, the Whole Health approach emphasizes non-medical strategies to improve overall well-being.
