Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Onyx
RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Festival Hall will be the venue for the 2023 Veterans Stand Down on Saturday, Oct. 14 in an event dedicated to honoring those who have served the nation.
Shawn Rivers, Racine County Veterans Service Officer, provided details about the upcoming event on Monday, Oct. 9.
The initiative, organized by the Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin, will be held from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Attendees can expect representatives from over 50 community resources covering areas such as housing, healthcare, VA benefits and employment, among others.
Veterans will also receive food and gear. Free parking will be available for the event.
