Veterans on the escalation of U.S. involvement in Middle East

(Milwaukee)--President Barack Obama lays out his plan for dealing with ISIS Wednesday night. And no surprise congress remains divided. Local veterans we spoke with are as well. Some say we need to do what we can to rid the Middle East of this threat. But others are much more cautious in how we proceed. They don't want us repeating mistakes of the past.

Dr. Julia Azari with Marquette University says the president has a tough job pleasing everyone, especially when it comes to foreign policy. But she adds he needs to have a plan and stick with it. Grant it we might know about all the details. And some might agrue we probably shouldn't. One veteran believes this conflict could last at least several years.
