From warm temperatures to a quick turn to fall
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin hosted its First Annual Cultural Blood Drive Thursday, Sept. 4, at City Hall's Fishbowl Room.
City and staff members alike took part, with all attempting donors receiving a coupon for a free Texas Roadhouse appetizer, $3 off admission to see the China Lights, and a hotdog.
"Every time you donate, you help save three lives, and becoming a registered tissue donor through donatelifewisconsin.org helps save an additional eight lives," said Erika Ysaias, partner of community education, Versiti Blood Center.
The blood drive at the Zeidler building finished up at 1 p.m. Thursday.
