Verizon Offers Free Calls and Texts to France

In a statement released on Saturday Verizon announced it is offering free calls and text to France in the wake of Friday's terrorist attacks. 

Verizon and our more than 170,000 employees worldwide want to extend our condolences and offer our support to all our friends in France. In the wake of the unprecedented Paris attacks, Verizon is supporting our customers by offering free calling from the United States to France through the weekend to help customers connect with family and friends.

Wireless customers will incur no charges for texts or international long distance calls originating from the U.S. to France starting November 13 through November 15.

Home telephone customers can make free calls to France from their U.S. landlines from November 13 through November 15.
