UW-Whitewater to host National Wheelchair Basketball championship

WHITEWATER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Big news for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The school has been picked to host the National Wheelchair Basketball Men's Championships this month.

It's March Madness on wheels and it's happening from March 16-18. You may not be aware of this, but Whitewater has one of the top wheelchair basketball programs in the country for men and women.

The Warhawks have won 16 national championships, and the men will be playing at home this year, along with schools like Alabama, Arizona, and Illinois.

Admission for the games is free and seedings for the event will be determined next week.
