UW-Stevens Point Student from Grafton Dies in Crash

A UW-Stevens Point student that was from Grafton died on Sunday after a crash in Stevens Point.

Brendan Kennedy was a sophomore at UW-Stevens Point, according to an email from UW-Stevens Point’s Vice Chancellor.

According to WSAW, Investigators said a vehicle collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Main Street and Michigan Avenue.

According to a news release, both vehicle had been heading west on Main Street prior to the rear-end collision.

Both vehicles had only one passenger.

A reconstruction team is investigating the crash's cause.
