NARI Home Show returns with ideas to make homes smarter, greener,...
WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Last year, the pandemic limited doctor appointments and left some homebound patients without routine medical care.
That's why UW Health is expanding their efforts to reach patients in their homes.
It's called home-based primary care.
A team of health professionals provides the same level of care that someone would receive at a hospital or clinic.
"Can help them get all their daily needs at home so they can be as independent and healthy as possible," said Dr. Melissa Dattalo, medical director at UW Health.
UW Health's home-based care is available for people that are homebound or living in a long-term care facility.
