U.S. Cellular and Brewers Community Foundation Donate $20,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs

U.S. Cellular is teaming up with the Brewers Community Foundation to donate a total of $20,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs across Wisconsin.

According to the Brewers, the funds will be used to support the Little Brewers, a little league baseball program run by Boys & Girls Clubs for nearly 1,000 children across Wisconsin. Hundreds of those Little Brewers players will be in the stands for a check presentation before Thursday afternoon’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Brewers Community Foundation is matching U.S. Cellular’s $10,000 donation to purchase uniforms for Little Brewers players. This is the ninth year U.S. Cellular has supported the Little Brewers Program.

“We are proud to collaborate with the Brewers Community Foundation in an effort to support such a fun and positive program for Wisconsin youth,” said John Heimsch, U.S. Cellular Director of Sales for Wisconsin. “U.S. Cellular is passionate about developing a strong connection with the communities we serve and we are honored to be able to support Boys & Girls Club locations throughout the state.”

U.S. Cellular is committed to helping advance STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) educational programs through its nationwide support of The Boys & Girls Club. This year, U.S. Cellular donated $1 million to Boys & Girls Clubs across the country, with $155,000 going to clubs in Wisconsin.
