UPDATE: Sturtevant Police Enter Home after 6 Hour Standoff

Racine County Sheriff’s Office and Sturtevant Police responded to a subject barricaded in the 4100 block of County Highway H at 10:04 AM on Friday.
Racine County Sheriff Office SWAT and Crisis Negotiations were dispatched.
At 4:30 PM, over six hours since the situation began, police entered the residence and the subject was located. Subject was taken into custody by Sturtevant PD and transported to the hospital for medical and mental evaluation.
Police are not releasing the suspect's name at this time and clarified this was never a hostage situation.
