UPDATE: Scene Cleared Following Overnight Semi Accident Along I-94 Southbound

Shortly after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning a semi traveling along I-94 southbound lost control and ended up on its side. The semi came to rest in a ditch near Oakwood Rd near the Milwaukee and Racine county line.
According to the Wisconsin DOT, officials on scene have decided that they need to unload the semi-trailer before it can up righted and removed from the median. As a result, the left lane of I-94 southbound was closed for over 6 hours from Ryan Road through Oak Wood Road.
No word on any injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
