UPDATE: New Shift of Plow Workers on the Road in Milwaukee

The Department of Public Works switched to a fresh shift of plow drivers at 9:00 PM Sunday nigh. Those plow drivers will continue to clear main roads and side streets that need attention overnight.

At 11:00 PM plows and salt trucks will start on the streets that are impacted by the 4" snow rule.

End loaders have been called in to re-address cul-de-sacs and dead-end streets, and then move to clear median cross-overs and turn lanes.

Sidewalk and bus stop crews will deploy on Monday morning to make travel easier for pedestrians and those who use public transportation. 

Garage trucks with plows will be back on the streets Monday morning to help clean side streets, Only limited garbage and recycling collection will happen on Monday, December 12.
