UPDATE: Man Arrested after String of Armed Robberies in Oconomowoc
UPDATE: On August 30 the armed robbery suspect was arrested in Watertown. The man, identified as Scott Carlin of Jefferson, was arrested after a brief foot pursuit by Watertown Police. Carlin was turned over to the Oconomowoc Police Department and is being held in the Waukesha County hail facing charges.
Police say he is cooperating with the investigation.
On August 29 at 8:34 PM Oconomowoc Police Officers responded to a reported armed robbery at Flannerys Beverage Mart on Summit Avenue.
A suspect entered the business, implied that he had a weapon and demanded money from the cash register. Flannerys said that approximately $579 was taken. The employee handed over the money and the suspect fled on foot.
Oconomowoc Police believe the suspect is the same person who committed a robbery at Papa Murphy's on August 25. Police know the identity of the suspect but are not releasing that information at this time.
The suspect is described as a 26-year-old white man 5'9" tall and 170 pounds with a shaved head and deformed lip. Police believe the suspect is in Watertown.
