UPDATE: 2nd man dies after Kosciuszko Park lagoon incident

Two Milwaukee men are dead after a tragic swimming challenge over the weekend in Kosciuszko Park. 

Witnesses say Alejandro Rodriguez-Estrella and Victor Conception- Resto had challenged each other to swim across the pond on Saturday when they ran into trouble near the middle of the pond, went under water, and were eventually pulled out by bystanders and police.

When paramedics arrived the victims had already been pulled out of the pond. 

Rodriguez died that night, while Conception died Monday night at St. Luke's Hospital. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
