UPAF to Launch 2016 Campaign Tuesday Night
The United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) will launch and announce the goal for its 2016 Campaign Tuesday, March 1. The event will feature performances by UPAF Member Groups with a tribute to lyricist Yip Harburg – “Broadway’s Social Consciousness,” composer of more than 600 songs, including the Oscar-winner “Over the Rainbow.”
Funds raised during the UPAF Campaign support 15 Member Groups – prominent local performing arts organizations that provide entertainment excellence, economic benefits and arts education to all of Southeastern Wisconsin.
The event is free and open to the public and starts at 5:00 PM.
The launch will take place at the The Pfister Hotel, Grand Ballroom on the 7th Floor at 424 East Wisconsin Avenue.
The 2016 campaign starts Tuesday and lasts through June 14.
