Unoccupied home damaged by fire overnight

A vacant house on Milwaukee’s north side received almost $89,000 in damage following at late night fire Thursday.   According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, the fire was reported around 11:50 PM in a 1 1/2 story, wood frame house near N 24^th Place and W Lloyd Street.  No one was in the building at the time of the fire and no one was injured in fighting the blaze.  The cause of the fire is  under investigation.
