Two Shootings Send Three to the Hospital

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating two separate shootings Tuesday night in which three individuals were injured.

According to the Police report, the first incident occurred around 7:55 PM when a 23-year-old man was struck at least once when a suspect fired gunshots at him.  The victim was standing on the sidewalk in the area of S 6th and W Rogers Streets when the shooting occurred.  The man was taken to a hospital by neighborhood citizens and was treated for a non-life threatening injury.

The second incident happened around 9 PM in the area of N 60th Street and W Hope Avenue.  According to the Police report, a group of people were standing in front of a house when a vehicle passed and a suspect inside the vehicle opened fire on the group.  A 50-year-old man and a 36-year-old man were both struck by the gunfire.  The Milwaukee Fire Department took both men to the hospital where they are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The Milwaukee Police Department is looking for suspects in both shootings.
