RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Two Rivers man has been arrested for his second OWI, 9 days after being convicted for the first one.
According to the criminal complaint, authorities were called to an accident on Northbound 41 just north of CTH G in the Town of Raymond on March 9 of this year.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a deputy who said he saw a red Chevy pass by him at a high rate of speed in the median. The vehicle then allegedly struck the wall.
The driver, identified as Nathan Feurstein, said he was leaving Sheboygan and going back home to Two Rivers. He showed signs of intoxication and admitted to taking Alprazolam prior.
While officers were speaking with Feurstein, he allegedly took his foot off the brake pedal causing the vehicle to roll forward.
Feurstein was taken into custody. Officers learned that he was just convicted of an OWI nine days prior.
