Two People Injured in Late Night and Early Morning Shootings

The Milwaukee Police are investigating two non-fatal shooting that happened Sunday night and early Monday morning.

A 24-year-old Milwaukee man reported to Police that he was shot while he was standing on a friend's porch near N 12th Street and W Concordia Avenue.  The shooting happened around 9:40 PM.  Police don't know who shot the man.  He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Then, around 12:25 AM Monday, a 43-year-old Milwaukee man was shot as he was walking to his house in the area of N 42nd Street and W Garfield Avenue.  According to police, the shots came from a passing vehicle.  The man received a non-life threatening injury and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The Milwaukee Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding both shootings.
