Two pedestrians hit on Highway 20 near Sunnyslope Drive

Mt. Pleasant Fire Department told CBS 58 two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle on Highway 20 near Sunnyslope Drive around 3 PM.
A woman died at the scene. The vehicle stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
Law enforcement reports the west bound lanes of WIS 20 are closed between Emmertsen Road and Sunny Slope Drive due to the crash.
Flight for life was called, but before arriving an ambulance took the person to St. Mary’s.
A man was transported to Froedtert hospital from St. Mary's on Flight for Life.
