Two MPD Officers Taken to Hospital after Car Crash

Milwaukee Police officers were involved in a crash Thursday night around 10:40 PM at the intersection of 35th Street and Thurston. The initial investigation reveals the squad car, driven by a 29-year-old male officer with a 22-year-old female officer passenger, was traveling south on 35th Street when a car driven by a 17-year-old girl, made a left turn in front of the squad car.

The squad car collided with the girl's car and caused a significant amount of damage.

Both officers were taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Occupants from the other vehicle were also taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.  

The incident is still under investigation.
