Two Milwaukee shootings take place within mere hours and blocks late-Thanksgiving, early-Friday
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are seeking unknown suspects following multiple shootings that occurred within a few hours of each other, merely a few blocks apart late Thursday and early Friday.
A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries following a shooting near S. 25th and W. Grant St. at a little after 8:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving evening. Milwaukee PD reports that the shooting took place during an armed robbery during which a vehicle was also taken.
Headed into Friday, MPD reports another shooting took place at W. Grant St. and W. Forest Home Ave. during which a 23-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. No further details about the incident have yet been released.
During MPD's reports about the incidents, they offered no indication that the incidents were related, but they did take place only blocks from one another, near where Muskego Way and the Forest Home Hills neighborhoods meet.
