Two Milwaukee Men Injured in Separate Friday Night Shootings

A 23-year-old Milwaukee man is being treated what is described as a very serious gunshot wound suffered Friday night.  According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the man was shot during circumstances that are still being investigated.   The shooting occurred around 8:40 PM in the area of N 28th and W Locust Streets.  According to the Police report, the man was standing at a street corner when he was shot.  He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his wound.

Around 10:15 Friday night, a 26-year-old Milwaukee man was shot during, what Police describe, as an altercation with a drug dealer.  The shooting occurred in the area of S 17th and W Arrow Streets.  The man is being treated for a non-life threatening injury at a local hospital.

The MPD investigations into both cases are ongoing.
