Two men arrested on drug charges following traffic stop in Mount Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) – Two men are facing charges after being arrested during a traffic stop on Monday.

Police say they pulled a car over for speeding on South Drive near State Highway 31 around 8:54 p.m.

Officers smelled marijuana coming from the car.

During a vehicle search, officers found 66 Oxycodone pills, 34 Alprazolam pills, 3.5g of cocaine, 28 MDMA pills, 6.5g of marijuana and $4,000.

Both men are being held at the Racine County Jail.

The incident remains under investigation.
