Two teens are recovering after a high speed crash and rollover accident involving a stolen car on Milwaukee’s north side.
According to police, the crash happened around 10:40 PM Thursday at W Appleton Avenue and W Capitol Drive.
Milwaukee Police say the teens were passengers in a car that was hit by a speeding vehicle as they were trying to make a left turn onto W. Capitol Drive. Police say the speeding car was reported as stolen in July. The occupants of the stolen car fled the scene.
One of the teens was thrown from the vehicle and was taken to the hospital for serious injuries. The other teen had non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still looking for the occupants that were in the stolen vehicle.
